On Saturday, the team traveled down
to Lynn, MA to face Central Connecticut State in a double header. The first
game was a complete pitching effort by Cody Yonger (Middleboro, MA), Gehrig Schilling (Medfield,
MA) and Jimmy Fitzgerald (Canton, MA) with a combined seven strikeouts and
seven hits with only one run. Antony Sciaudone went one for three, with two
runs, and a RBI. John Williams went
three for three, with two RBI’s, and a double. Final score in the first game
was 6-1. In the second game, Connor Johnson (Taunton, MA) pitched the complete
game with ten strikeouts. Anthony Sciaudone (York, ME) and Younger each had three hits apiece.
Christian Montembeau (Eliot, ME), Evan Morris (Pembroke, MA), Kevin Huscher
(Middleboro, MA), Shane Carpenter (Florham Park, NJ) and Abe Grainger (Bedford,
MA) each had a RBI. That ultimately led them to a 11-2 win.
